Privacy Policy

Lever Niche Finder is a Chrome extension that reads metadata from TikTok videos you have saved, liked, or added to collections. It sends that metadata to our server for AI-powered niche analysis. It does not download, record, or store any video content.

When you click “Scan My Niche,” we read:

• Video descriptions and captions
• Hashtags
• Creator usernames
• Public engagement counts (likes, views, comments, shares)
• Music/sound titles

All of this is publicly visible metadata on TikTok. We do not collect your TikTok login credentials, private messages, personal information, browsing history, or any data outside of the TikTok tab you are viewing.

The video metadata is sent to our server and forwarded to an AI model (Anthropic Claude) to generate your personalized niche analysis report. The data is used solely for this purpose.

• We do not store your video data after the analysis is complete.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties beyond the AI processing described above.
• We do not use your data for advertising or tracking.

We use Anthropic's Claude API to perform the niche analysis. Video metadata is sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models.

We do not permanently store your video metadata or analysis results on our servers. Data exists only in memory during the analysis request and is discarded when the response is sent.

• activeTab — Allows the extension to read the current TikTok page when you click “Scan.”
• scripting — Required to read video metadata from the TikTok page.
• storage — Stores scan progress locally on your device (never sent to us).
• sidePanel — Displays the extension interface in a side panel.
• host_permissions (tiktok.com) — Required to read video data from TikTok pages.

Since we don't store personal data, there is nothing to delete or export. If you have questions or concerns, contact us at the email below.
